Privacy policy

We collect as little as possible: nothing at all when you just read the site, and only what you type in when you contact us or sign up for the monthly note.

01Who is responsible for your data

The controller of personal data on pixelorchardguide.com is MAXIMAD TECHNOLOGIES, INC. You can reach us at hello@pixelorchardguide.com.

02What we collect

Reading the site: no accounts, no analytics, no advertising or tracking cookies. Our web server keeps short technical logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security, which are deleted automatically within 30 days.

Contact form: your name, email address and message, so we can reply.

Monthly note: your email address, so we can send it.

03Why, and on what legal basis

We reply to messages because you asked us to (legitimate interests). We send the monthly note only because you signed up for it (consent), and you can withdraw that consent at any time with the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.

04How long we keep it

Messages are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted. Email addresses for the monthly note are kept until you unsubscribe.

05Sharing

We do not sell or share your data. Our hosting provider stores it for us under a data processing agreement. Where data is processed outside the UK, we rely on recognised safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

06Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to how we use it or ask us to restrict it. Email us and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
